    Having relocated my Mayfair fan to a new property with a sloping ceiling, I needed to fit a drop rod conversion kit, together with this drop rod.
    Because I didn't need much of a drop, I had to modify the length of the smallest drop rod available. This was quite easy by cutting to the required length and drilling a hole through to provide for the lower support pin. A little thought and ingenuity goes a long way!!
