Product Description

A unique feature of the Tau ceiling fan is that it can be fitted with 2, 3 or 4 blades - depending on the air-movement requirements of your room or on the aesthetic appearance you prefer. All 4 blades are supplied in the box and you can then choose to fit as many blades as you like or need. A further addition to the Fantasia Elite range, the Tau is a low energy DC motor ceiling fan that - like the Delta, Omega and Zeta - uses 60% less energy than a traditional ceiling fan motor. It also comes complete with a 10w LED light which, added to the 35w motor, makes it one of the most energy efficient ceiling fans on the market.

KEY FEATURES
• Low Energy DC Motor uses 60% less electricity than a standard ceiling fan
• The enhanced remote control system offers 6 speeds in forward and 6 in reverse and light on/off
• Can be fitted with 2, 3 or 4 blades - all 4 blades are supplied
• Durable ABS Blades
• Low energy LED 10w Light

This graph shows the energy consumption of a low energy DC-motor ceiling fan compared with a traditional AC-motor ceiling fan. The DC ceiling fan has 6 speeds whereas the AC fan has 3 speeds but even in high speed the DC fan only uses 30 watts of electricity, whilst still achieving the same RPM as the AC fan.
